GASTEC signs a cooperation protocol with EMC and Schneider Electric to implement and activate the predictive maintenance phase of the industrial system using artificial intelligence.

On the sidelines of the activities of the EGYPS 2024 exhibition, GASTEC, EMC, and Schneider Electric signed a cooperation protocol to implement and activate the predictive maintenance phase of the SCADA system and integration with the enterprise resource management system (SAP ERP), within the activities of the second day of the seventh session of the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition

 

 

(EGYPS 2024) which will be held during the period from February 19-21, 2024 at the International Conference and Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement, under the patronage of the President of the Republic.

 

 

 

The agreement was signed by Eng./ Abdelfattah Farahat, Chairman and Managing Director of GASTEC Company, Eng./ Khaled Ibrahim, Chairman of Egypt Maintenance Company (EMC), and Eng./ Khaled Kamel, Managing Director of Schneider Electric Company.

 

 

 

The concluded cooperation agreement aims at implement and activate the predictive maintenance system to link with the remote monitoring and control system for CNG fueling stations (SCADA) and the resource management and planning applications system (SAP ERP) within the framework of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to develop and modernize the petroleum sector aimed at expanding applications of digital transformation in managing activities,

 

 

which contributes to raising the efficiency of CNG fueling stations, which have begun to serve a large segment of vehicles users in Egypt.
