The Company seeks to spread CNG fueling service on a large scale through the establishment of CNG fueling stations countrywide aiming at facilitating such civilized service, as well as providing several job vacancies, preserving the environment and contributing to supporting the national economy.
The Company has the widest geographical expansion of CNG fueling stations grid among all the working NGV companies in Egypt spreading over 26 governorates

-Boosting Safety and Security System in Operation Processes
GASTEC is keen on attaining the highest safety standard rates at all the Company's works and activities, especially the works of installing, operating and maintaining stations, through following the latest advanced security systems globally where all the Company's stations are automatically controlled 24 hours a week without stopping to ensure the provision of a complete safety and environmental conservation to the station and the surrounding residential area.
Auditing Stations' Performance and Equipment Status using Smartphones
Performance & Condition Monitoring Program has been implemented, it is an "application" installs on computers and smartphones to maintenance engineers and station’s labors to follow up and monitor station’s performance on all levels of sales, conversion, breakdowns, maintenance, electricity consumption and lubricants, aiming at assessing the efficiency of the Company's equipment and stations, achieving sales plan and measuring various performance indicators for individuals and equipment through constant connection between smartphone and station.

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System "SCADA System"
GASTEC Co-operated with Information System and Computer Center affiliated to Military Production Ministry in order to implement and develop Automatic Linking Program Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition "SCADA System" for fueling stations affiliated to the Company for a number of compressors with their inclusions including rapid development stations as a priority as well as the existing stations already since the Company’s establishment.
SCADA System provides monitoring performance rates at stations, daily sales, improving maintenance works for equipment, in addition to recording number of vehicles, gas amount consumed per each vehicle and final fueling pressure.
-The Modern Design of Fueling Stations
GASTEC developed CNG fueling techniques, installing for the first time the CNG facilities such as compressors and CNG tanks and other accessories in separate , availing yet vast areas to be used in various activities and services to the customers. The adoption of such an advanced design would help in developing the infrastructure of CNG fueling facilities and supporting the spread of CNG stations. In addition, the Company applied such upgraded techniques at Port Said and Beni Swif stations.
In addition to developing the current shape of the CNG dispensers and increasing safety rates through placing all their components above the fueling canopy so as to save area in the fueling zone.
Also, an integrated plan was made to spread such stations on a large-scale in several cities, governorates, new Urban Communities and the national road grid.
The total number of CNG fueling stations affiliated to the Company reached 379 stations, representing the largest spread rate for fueling stations among all NGV companies in Egypt.
Fueling the Public Transport Buses
In the framework of expansion efforts to use CNG as an alternative fuel in vehicles, GASTEC coordinated with Military 200 Factory, one of of the National Authority for Military Production Companies in order to convert number of (1131) buses affiliated to Public Transport Authority at Cairo and Alexandria to run by CNG instead of diesel on phases during 6 years, including designing, suppling and installing CNG feeding pipes also CNG cylinders and its accessories. In addition to carrying out needed tests for such cylinders at buses conversion location and providing warranty certificates of CNG systems with all accessories. Also, providing all the required spare parts.
It is worth noting that the Company earlier implemented a project to establish the largest buses fueling station in the Middle East in the garage of the Public Transport Authority in Nasr City, in addition to number of other stations inside such garages in Al-Matareya, Al-Basatin and Port Said Street. Such stations fuel also the customer’s vehicles.
- Expansion of CNG Facilities inside Liquid Fuels Stations
The Company coordinated with liquid fuel companies to add CNG activity to its affiliated stations, whereas these companies own network of stations in distinguished locations countrywide. It would accelerate deployment of CNG fueling stations in the governorates, as follows:

The Company cooperated with Misr Petroleum Company to incorporate CNG fueling facilities in (21) of its stations, so that the total number of the Company’s stations inside Misr Petroleum Company reached (160) stations countrywide.
Cooperation Petroleum Company:
The Company cooperated with Cooperation Petroleum Company to incorporate CNG fueling facilities in (2) of its stations in addition to another station of the last year.
Nile Petroleum Company:
The Company cooperated with Nile Petroleum Marketing Company to incorporate CNG fueling facilities in a station affiliated to Nile Company, which are Aswan / Nile station.
