Eng./ Tarek El Molla stressed that his presence with the Governor of Giza at the opening of the new CNG stations is a message indicating the state’s full support for the expansion of this initiative, which benefits the citizens by providing fuel that gives the same efficiency at the lowest cost and in a way that enhances citizens’ confidence in relying on CNG services spread across various roads and axes and achieves the state’s goals in expanding this activity with the economic and environmental goals it achieves.

El Molla pointed out that the presidential initiative that supported the national project to convert vehicles to run by CNG, along with marketing efforts and innovative solutions such as mobile conversion centers, had a significant impact in increasing the number of vehicles converted to run by CNG to more than 550 thousand vehicles and the spread of new stations, which amount to nearly a thousand stations in the governorates of the Republic on roads and highways.

El Molla confirmed that mobile center services have been launched to provide conversion services for vehicles to run by CNG and maintain them to facilitate companies and factories wishing to convert in the locations where their vehicles are located, whose services can be used by telephone calls to the hotlines of the GASTEC and CARGAS companies.

For his part, Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, pointed out that the October Gardens integrated (CNG - gasoline) station is the first of its kind in the governorate as an integrated station for all types of fuel and services.

The governor praised the expansion of the Ministry of Petroleum in providing CNG services for vehicles and launching mobile centers to convert vehicles to run by CNG, within the framework of the state’s plan to shift towards clean energy sources and in implementation of the governorate’s plan aimed at increasing reliance on alternative sources of fossil fuels.

Following the opening of the GASTEC-Eni integrated station in the October Gardens area, the Minister inspected the provision of integrated services at the station, and Eng./ Abdelfattah Farahat, GASTEC’s Chairman, explained that the station is capable of providing CNG fueling services to about 2,000 vehicles per day through 6 fueling points and that it is built according to a modern and advanced design that provides spaces to various integrated services.

. He explained that the station, which was established in partnership with the Italian company Eni, provides fueling services for gasoline 92-95 through 16 fueling points, high-quality international Eni lubricants services, and various services for vehicle drivers.
