In the context of Gas Tec. plan to expand the NGV fueling service to the largest sector of citizens in all governorates covered by the natural gas network, through providing service stations fulfilling the customers’ needs,

On 16/7/2014, Gas Tec. operated Minya/Tala Road Station located at Tala Road St. next to the Potagasco Warehouse, being yet the Company’s second station in Minya after operating Minya Station & Conversion Center within the borders of Misr Petroleum Station –Sefsafa/ Extension of Misr-Assiout Agricultural Road, in front of Khashaba Bridge – that was inaugurated in July 2013.

Additionally, on 18/7/2014, the Company inaugurated Sohag/Arram Station located at Mahmoud Fahmy El Nokrashy St., from the Southern Station St., in front of Sohag Public Hospital, being yet the first CNG fueling station in Sohag Governorate which was preceded by the inauguration of Sohag conversion center on 15/7/2014 at El Jerjawya St., Mobil/Mekled Station in front of the Ambulance Facility.

These projects come under of the Ministry of Petroleum’s plan aiming at expanding the establishment of fueling stations and conversion centers in Upper Egypt’s governorates after the implementation of the relevant project of Upper Egypt’s gas line.

Eng./ Hesham Radwan, Chairman of Gas Tec., indicated that NGV fueling service witnessed large demand from the citizens in the governorates of Upper Egypt, given the advantages of compressed natural gas as a clean, safe and economical fuel compared to liquid fuels in addition to its participation in relieving crowdedness in the liquid fuel station. Moreover, the Company plans to inaugurate more stations in the governorates of Upper Egypt such as Quena, Assiout and Aswan.
